04-Jan-2014 -- This DCP was the first out of the two we visited during an 8-day (4 - 11 January 2014) bike expedition from Maharashtra to Madhya Pradesh.
A search on the Google Maps showed the following places in the vicinity of the DCP:
We started on 5 January 2014 from Sendhwa at around 08:00 hours and started riding northwards (towards Indore) on NH3. I was tracking the point on my Garmin eTrex Vista HCX. Soon we took a turn for Julwānia. From here, Vadodara was 308 km and it seemed to be some state highway and we crossed over Rangaon, Rājpur (some town place). Later, we took a left turn for Talwada Buzurg as the directed by the compass on the tracker for the DCP. Talwada Buzurg is a small village but has considerable variety of cultivation - green & red chillies, paddy, and a few vegetables. Soon we crossed it and we realized the DCP is close.
We immediately parked the bikes by the way and entered barren fields on the left side of the road (west direction). After walking for 1.5 km, we reached the DCP, which refreshed our memories of the August 2012 DCP - this one was also located amidst a paddy field.
We quickly took the necessary photographs but one question still remained - which village this was? We came back to the main road and requested a passer to guide us. He was a middle-aged gentleman who not only told us that the village is Sajwani, but also drew a small scale direction map for us to proceed to our next destination - Maheswar. The Borlai 'Pīr' is located on a hillock as per that gentleman, few miles ahead (northwest on the same road). We were grateful and thanked him for his help and proceeded towards Anjad around 13:30 hours.
