28-Jul-2006 -- On our recent trip to the Birdsville Races we travelled to Camerons Corner, Innamincka, Birdsville and back. I wanted to take in some 4wd tracks that were not classed as mainstream roads to these destinations and the Bore Track was one of them.

This track is on Private land and is use by the Oil & Gas workmen to service the various Oil/Gas/Water bores along it’s route. We paid our $10 access fee and travelled towards Innamincka. I knew this track came very close to the confluence of 28S 141E and thought I’d register it on this website.

The day was fairly hot & humid, but nothing to write home about. We followed the track as close as we could and then went on foot which was a hundred metre off the track.

The demarcation line with South Australia is passing about 50 m west of the Confluence.
